EB-5 Investor Visa

Green card through investment in a U.S. enterprise.

The EB-5 visa provides a path to permanent residency through investment in a U.S. commercial enterprise that creates jobs. With a minimum investment of $800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area (or $1,050,000 otherwise), the EB-5 is a direct route to a green card for investors and their families.

EB-5 is not only for people who want to run a business day to day. Regional center investment offers a more passive route to the same green card.

EB-5 Requirements

To qualify for an EB-5 green card:

Invest $1,050,000 in a new commercial enterprise (or $800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area)
The investment must create at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs
The investment must be 'at risk' — not a passive or guaranteed return
Funds must come from lawful sources, fully documented

Direct vs. Regional Center

There are two paths for EB-5 investment: • Direct Investment — You invest in and manage your own business, directly creating 10 jobs • Regional Center — You invest in a USCIS-approved regional center project, and indirect job creation counts toward the requirement BBA Immigration helps you evaluate both options and choose the best path for your situation and goals.
