Protect Your People: Employer Immigration Services for Texas Businesses

You insure your equipment. You protect your contracts. You have a plan for your finances. The question is: have you protected the people who built your business? BBA Immigration helps mid-size companies in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and technology protect their visa-dependent workforce.

Partners in every file. Transparent pricing. Direct answers at the first call.

Before the Crisis

You built this company person by person. The welder who runs your most complex jobs. The dental hygienist your patients specifically request. The construction foreman your entire crew follows without question.

Some of those people hold temporary work visas. You may not know exactly which ones, or when those visas expire.

Most business owners do not find out until an employee walks in with a problem that has a sixty-day deadline. At that point, your options are narrower and your costs are higher.

A proactive PERM filing or H-1B sponsorship strategy costs significantly less than a reactive scramble after a status emergency.

During the Crisis

One of your key employees just told you their visa expires in sixty days. Or they came to you with a letter, a notice, or a deadline they cannot fully explain.

You have two problems now: the legal one and the human one.

The legal one has a process. The human one — the trust that employee placed in you by bringing this to you instead of quietly updating their resume — is the one worth protecting.

BBA commits to giving you a direct answer at the first call: what your options are, what the timeline looks like, and what it costs.

How Employers Find BBA

Many of BBA's employer clients begin with one or two employees who found us first. An employee came to BBA for their own NIW or H-1B matter, experienced the quality of our work, and connected us to their employer.

If that sounds familiar, this is the conversation your business has been waiting to have. If your company has employees on temporary work visas, or if you are not certain of the status of your workforce, a proactive conversation now may prevent a crisis that costs significantly more.

Employer Immigration — Frequently Asked Questions

How much does PERM labor certification cost?
BBA communicates the full cost of the process before engagement begins — no surprises mid-engagement. The total includes attorney fees, Department of Labor filing, recruitment advertising, and documentation. Schedule a consultation for a specific quote based on your company's situation.
How long does the PERM process take?
PERM labor certification typically takes 8–14 months depending on the occupation, prevailing wage determination timeline, and Department of Labor processing. BBA handles every phase — from prevailing wage request through recruitment, filing, and audit response if needed.
How long does H-1B sponsorship take?
H-1B petitions are filed annually with an April 1 deadline and lottery selection. Cap-exempt positions (universities, nonprofits, research organizations) can be filed year-round without the lottery. BBA handles the entire process from prevailing wage determination through approval, including premium processing when available.
Can I sponsor an employee who is already in the U.S.?
Yes. Most employer sponsorship cases involve employees already working in the U.S. on temporary visas — H-1B, L-1, TN, OPT, or other work authorization. BBA evaluates your employee's current status and recommends the strongest and most efficient pathway to permanent sponsorship.
What if my employee's visa is expiring in 60 days?
Urgency changes the strategy, not the options. BBA will give you a direct answer at the first call: what your options are, what the timeline looks like, and what it costs. In crisis situations, we prioritize speed without sacrificing quality. Extensions, change of status, and bridge strategies are all available depending on the specifics.
Do you work with companies outside Houston?
Yes. BBA represents employers across Texas — Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Midland, and statewide — as well as companies nationwide. Employer immigration cases do not require geographic proximity to our office.
What is Schedule A and which employees qualify?
Schedule A is a fast-track green card pathway specifically for registered nurses and physical therapists. It skips the PERM labor certification process entirely — no labor market test, no recruitment, no Department of Labor filing. BBA handles Schedule A cases for healthcare employers across Texas.
Can I sponsor multiple employees at once?
Yes. Many of BBA's employer clients sponsor multiple employees across different visa categories simultaneously. BBA manages the portfolio approach — coordinating PERM timelines, H-1B filings, and Schedule A cases to protect your entire workforce efficiently.
